Laundry room re-do

We never had a formal laundry room. All we had was a laundry "space." My husband, who's had no carpentry experience, decided to extend a wall, add a pocket door, and a few other things. We have really enjoyed this new room. Project completed in 2008.

I think everyone has seen this idea from a specific catalog. I paid less than a dollar a piece on clearance and then painted them black.

Hubby did a great job! and you did good on the decor as well! kudos! now you will enjoy doing laundry! my laundry room room is so small and cramped, ugh...wish I could do this myself :-( love that he gave you the place to fold the clothes as well! very nice! and the clothes hampers as well! great job!! After the hubs is done with Sheila G's place, send him on down I-20 my way towards Augusta, I'm just a couple exits before Augusta!!!! ;-)
