Transforming My Summer Coop For Fall

I like to decorate my chicken coop according to the season. I don't like to spend a lot of money for this project either.I use decorations from year to year that I have purchased from dollar stores, hand me downs, and sometimes things just found out in the yard or woods.
This year I did have a little problem I had to solve with the coop. But quickly figured it out and ended up with what I think is a beautiful fall chicken coop.
This was my summer coop this year and I kept it very simple by adding some flags. I always have marigolds somewhere blooming to give to the chickens, as well as using them for decoration. I normally leave the summer coop decorated until October.

This year I switched it up a little early, and it took me no time at all to do it.

My coop itself was put together from scrap wood my husband salvaged from an old coop a friend gave us, and things we had laying around our place.
The little problem I had this year was due to having fresh pumpkins and my chickens loving to eat them. I remedied the problem and now 3 days later my pumpkins are still untouched. My chickens free range, which simply means they are let out during the day to roam around and eat what they like from our land.

See how that could have been a problem?
I mentioned I don't like to spend a lot of money when decorating my coop, so when it comes time to decorate I pull things from the storage shed I have had for years, like

Miss Franny Fay Scarecrow you see here. She is hung on the coop door to welcome who ever is collecting eggs that day.
The fall coop is always so fun to decorate and I think it turned out great this year.

At least my chickens think so....I know because they are laying beautiful eggs.
