Birdfeeder from an antique light cover

I found this old light cover at a flea market. It came with the holes already in it and I knew I just had to have it for a bird feeder.

What a good eye for re-puposing you have. How did you clean it up and did you string the beads to make your hanger? I bet this looks pretty in the sun and that the birds love it.

What a perfect fixture to be re-purposed as a bird feeder! Great thinking outside of the box Karen.

Thanks! Yes, I strung the beads and used a carbiner (sp) for attaching it to the limb. It has been great to see birds using it.

Dee W, I just simply washed it well and yes I strung beads on a heavy cording. The birds are really using alot right now.
