Dresser Turned Coffee Bar

My daughter inherited this dresser and it has very special meaning to her. She didn't have room for it so I turned it into a useful piece of furniture for her house. It's now a beautiful coffee bar!
I removed the handles which I decided to keep to put back on and kept them in their original form.
I sanded the top and applied stain and varnish, it created a beautiful finish to the top of the dresser.
Then I used Annie Sloan Chalk paint in Olde Ochre and stained with a clear and dark wax. The dark wax brought out the beautiful details of the dresser.

It's now a beautiful coffee bar that my daughter can now enjoy every morning with her cup of coffee. Stop on over and see the full transformation.

Thanks for a working link. I can see that being made useful to store table linens, napkins, candles, etc. if it was in a dining area. I have a similar old dresser I picked up at a curbside. Your refinish looks great !
