Garden Pond

Last time I posted I thought there were more photos. Here they are. I love listening to the waterfall, enjoying the plants and watching the goldfish.

Penny you've taken outdoor living to multiple levels!! Love that you've put all where it can be enjoyed from all angles. Must be even more beautiful when all begins to bloom.

I love that you brought the water garden right up close to your screened porch and deck so you can enjoy it! Too many people put their ponds in an unused corner of the yard where they can't enjoy them as much. It's lovely!

Penny, that is a beautiful pond and the setting is perfect. What type of pond plant is the pink one?

The tall plants along the edge are Longwood Canna. They are a bog plant. We purched them at Randy's in Lawrenceville and they keep blooming. I do deadhead them. We have two.

Our pond is one of the best investments we have done. I even enjoy getting in it to prune the dead leaves and flowers and fertilize the flowering plants.

    Thanks everyone.

Penny, thank you for the info. I, too, get in my pond to prune plants - I have some chest waders that are ugly but very useful.

Where did you get the chest waders?

Penny, when you get to the site type: waders - NOT pretty but they work. I've had mine for over 7 years.
