if anyone has any ideas what flowers I could plant here in wisconsin that bloom from late summer to late fall it would most helpful

    Here are some perennials I would consider to extend your garden into fall, Sherri. Many will bloom until you get a killing frost: All kinds of asters, monkshood, the Japanese anemones, Caryopteris, chelone (especially good for a shady or moist area), Helianthus and Helenium, Russian sage and, last but not least, "Autumn Joy" sedum.

    Here are a Couple of Good Ones Not One Doug's List...Black eyed Susan,All Kinds of Mums,Ragged Cone Flower,and My all Time Fav.Sunflowers...There is also roses and bulbs...Have fun..
