White Kitchen

Our kitchen has seen many changes in the 16 years since we first built our home. We've made many upgrades and cosmetic changes and did it all ourselves.

We replaced formica counters with cherry butcherblock from Lumber Liquidators. I sealed them with several coats of Waterlox.

I am taken with the idea of mirror behind your stovetop. I have such a small kitchen, and could see how it would open up the space. Do you find it much of a pain to keep clean?

Lori, the mirror isn't difficult to keep clean at all. I have a glass cook top, so when I clean it, I wipe the mirror down as well. Just a little windex or vinegar and water and a paper towel.

This kitchen has all the things I love, white cabinets, beadboard backsplash and I love the way you covered the bar. There are many things to look at and they are all beautiful. Drapes are great too!
