After falling in love with the Lowes Creative Ideas Adirondack (www.lowescreativeideas.com/idea-library/projects/Adirondack-Inspired_Chairs.aspx) I needed two of them on my porch. But with an estimate of over $50 each, it was a bit out of my price range. Luckily the chair is built entirely out of 1x6 boards, which meant fence pickets were the perfect substitution!
