Hometalk Inspired Thrifting!

Hometalk encouraged people to get together and go thrift store shopping. Eight of us went to Bluffton and Hilton Head Island, S.C. last Saturday and shopped all day! We filled four large SUV'S to the brim. We all wore Hometalk tee shirts which drew a lot of attention and conversation. We had so much fun and bought so much fabulous stuff! EclecVintage, I will work on fixing that link. I did notice that when it takes you to the blog, it says the post does not exist, but if you click Home right under that notice, it takes you to it. Wierd. Thanks for the heads up and yeah, we rocked 'em!

I'm so jealous! Great finds! I don't have any Thrift Stores near me that look like that! I have to drive the roads with an eagle eye, look through alleys, read the paper for garage sales.......I'm with Becky...I can't wait to see what creations come from these treasures!

Hi, Marg! These places are more than an hour drive for me but so worth it. I know what you mean though about the hunt. I'm sure all of these ladies will be sharing their work on their blogs and/or facebook pages, so find and follow them for updates. They all already have some amazing things.
