Can dulled granite be polished?

I have granite counter tops in my kitchen and marble in my bathrooms. My home is 4 years old, and the granite and marble are a bit "dull" looking with some tiny surface scratches from use. I have cleaned them and sealed them every 6 months since we built the house. In addition, I use a granite/marble polish about every 2-3 weeks. My question is: can I have someone come in and polish the granite and marble and reseal it so that it is returned to its original shine?

Yes, a professional can use special tools and bring back that shine. Just check your local counter manufacturing company in your area. Anyone that sells this product can arrange to do this for you.
