Bathtub Tiling the Smart Way:Beauty Begins on the Inside :)

Even if you're not going to install bathtub tile yourself it's important to understand the process so that you get a beautiful finished look. I want to share how we shimmed out our bathtub stud walls because it's really the first step in a tub tiling project.

We use 1/4 lath to get the cement board to be flush or rest a bit beyond the bathtub lip. This will help keep all the walls plumb. This in turn will ensure the subway tiles we're using will be plumb, and not crooked in relation to each other.

I'm sharing this material so you can get the gorgeous tile job you've been waiting for. Click here for more info http://www.homerepairtutor.com/stud-prep-for...
