Beautiful finish! I enjoyed your tutorial about using ASCP.
-
Love your table and chairs! I need to try ASCP soon! -
Thanks Donna and Laura! :-) -
Very nice!! I have a plan this fall to re do my bedroom and paint the furniture (it was my mom's bought in the late 70's early 80's) do you have a retailer near you - or did you have to order and have the paint shipped?? -
Thanks Jan! I have two retailers "near" me {still 45 minutes away!} Kelly at www.stylishpatina.com is local to me, but she has an online shop and I've found her to be really helpful. Have fun! :) -
Closest to me is MA..more than 45 minutes! : ( -
Now that you've had the table completed for awhile, how is the tabletop holding up? I bought a desk/vanity yesterday at a garage sale and I may lose my ASCP virginity and finally try the paint! I'm curious if it will be durable enough, especially the top part?

Hey Donna! Weeelllll, I haven't exactly moved it from the garage to the screened porch yet. I've heard that the wax dries hard as a rock though. We'll see! :-) -
OH That is just BEAUTIFUL! -
Thanks, Sharron! xoxo -
Is it Grey? Hard to tell cause it looks pale in the garage and darker on the porch...really gorgous whatever the color... Love the upholstery! My Favorite! -
Thanks Sharron, it's called "Paris Gray" and it's pretty light. I'd say the garage photo is more accurate. :) -
Yeah the garage Picture reminds me of the color I used in the youngest Bedroom called Pilot Grey...very pale...but really nice with a number of other colors... -
Empty nest in Warrenton Va. also sells as chalk paint .. -
I painted a table and chairs .. the table is exactly like yours.. I left the finish on the top and painted everything else ..country grey with clear and then dark wax .. turned out great .. yours are very pretty too!! -
