Duck Egg Blue and White China Cabinet

I was wandering through one of my local thrift stores one day when I spied this beauty being rolled onto the floor. I immediately staked my claim as I waited for the young men who wheeled it out put a price tag on it...$69!! SOLD!
Here is the before...it doesn't show here in my dark garage, but in the next photo you can see it was quite faded.
It still pains me just a tad when I go to paint a pretty piece like this, but it really lacked character and just felt so heavy.
The Duck Egg Blue and Pure White mixed is the perfect back drop for my ironstone.
I sanded the edges just a bit to bring out the pretty details.
I kept the original hardware, just gave it a coat of spray paint and a light sanding.
I gave the whole piece a coat of clear soft wax.
All the ironstone pieces were thrift store finds too.
It has so much more personality now and feels so light and fresh!

First it's lovely! Why did you spray the handles rather than use ASCP? Just curious. I've always used ASCP on the hardware and it's held up really well.
What color is the blue
