DIY Barn Wood

Barn wood is so popular right now!! Today I am going to show you how I made this DIY Barn Wood in a picture frame as well as how I achieved the old barn wood look. I am really loving this greyish old barn wood color. I have got some amazing projects lined up to use this DIY Barn Wood finished look on.

I picked up this picture frame from the Restore a few months ago. It literally has been sitting on my mantle just like this, I could not decide what to do with it. One day it just came to me that I wanted a barn wood look. I originally thought about using pallets, but I didn't want this thing to weight a gazillion pounds. I went on the hunt for some thinner lighter wood. What I found was a wood called bender board. It worked perfect!
