Two-toned paint treatment for buffet

Do you have old furniture and want to buy new? Don't do it! Paint it!!!! I did a two toned paint treatment on my antique buffet. It didn't cost anything because i had the paint and the restore-a-finish. Here's how you can transform any piece. Remove the drawers and just paint the frame of the piece. Make sure you sand a little (220 grit) and wipe down before painting. I used Polished Pearl from Behr in thier primer/paint combo. I then soaked the hardware in a baking soda wash and used some silver leaf to make the pulls look new. The drawers got a facelift using Restor-a-finish in dark walnut. Go to my blog to see more pictures and a more detailed description of the transformation.
