How to DIY a Faux Fur Stool

When you find something you love, you don't have to buy it...you can create a knockoff! After seeing a faux fur stool at one of my favorite stores, I knew I had the perfect stool at home that I could transform myself to get the look. Using faux llama fur, I recovered a stool to knockoff the look...You can get the full tutorial on the blog....http://www.houseontheway.com/diy-faux-fur-stool-knock-tour/
Theirs retails for $54.99, while mine was done for about $17!
The first step was to remove the existing fabric from my stool.
After measuring the fur, I cut it to size...covered the stool and stapled the fabric underneath.
Once the fabric was completely stapled and secured, I trimmed the excess fabric from underneath.
It's such a fun look and an easy knockoff!
It's plush and soft to the touch.
I'm using it at this small desk in my bedroom in lieu of a chair.
