Framing Succulents

I saw an inspiring post by stephanielynn.com of a potted sedum framed in a rustic barnwood frame. This is my copycat. http://organizedclutterqueen.blogspot.com/2...

This is my inspiration by stephanielynn.com.

This is my copycat. I put a nail in the bottom part of the frame leaving half of the nail sticking out to insert in the terra cotta pot hole to balance it on the frame.

I love the upside down terracotta pot boarder you have created for your flowerbed, and I think your inspired creation has better balance visionaly speaking than your inspiration. You have become my inspiration... thank you

that is amazing that the pot stays upright with just a single nail in the bottom. Really like it.

This is great idea. Question. how do you attach the pots?

I pounded a nail into the bottom center of the frame. The terra cotta pot hole fits over the nail. There is a little movement as the nail is smaller than the hole, but it sits pretty level and secure.

I also love the upside down terracotta border! It would look cool with different sized pots, too! That's what I'm going to do !!!

My pots are all different sizes. Very small to very big. I have the terra cotta border on Hometalk too.
