Crackled Chalk Painted Shabby Chic Nightstand With Original Poppy Art

Picked up this little nightstand at auction for $15. Painted with Homemade Red Chalk Paint, applied Modern Masters Crackle Medium and then a coating of a light beige chalk paint over the top, which allowed the red to show through the cracks. A little accent paint and some hand-painted bright poppies on top finished it off and make it an original piece of art. Total cost $55, with plenty of paint left over for another few pieces! Who says art has to be on the walls?
