Ghosted Cake Plate Stand

Using a thrifted cake plate set and glass vase I thought would make a cake plate stand with a cute but ghostly twist.
Frosted glass spray paint, a black paint pen and some E6000 were the only other supplies I needed to make this fun Halloween decor.
I picked both the cake plate set and glass vase up for cheap, cheap, cheap at the thrift store.

I cleaned them up and then gave them an alcohol wipe; applied the frosted glass spray; and then glued the bottom of the vase to the bottom of the plate with E6000 glue.

Then I drew on four ghost faces with pencil, opposing each other around the cake down, and then I filled in the faces with a black paint pen.

Oh, and I added a "Boo", too!

I wasn't sure how it would look at night, but actually lamp and candle light shines through the glass quite nicely.

Just a little spooky fun for the season.
