Fall in Love With Your Living Room Again: Bring New Life to Old Decor

I took on my very first DIY project and recovered the pillows and ottoman in my living room to give it new life.
My couch was very bland and boring. Plus the pillows had little strings that got caught on buttons, shoes and anything else that came in close contact with them.
The ottoman was an eye sore at the very least. It served as a table, footrest and play area for the kids. The leather on the entire top of the ottoman was ripped, the padding was coming out and on top of it, it smelled horrible from spilled milk.
I took on my very first DIY project and recovered the pillows. I fell in love with these two fabrics together and they went very well with my existing couches and wall color.
With the help of my mother in law, I also recovered the top portion of the ottoman. I choose this fabric because it went well with the leather already on the bottom portion of the ottoman, which I had decided I wasn't going to recover.
After one evening, my living room and existing furniture had a new look and I loved it again!
