Recycle Craft- Toilet Tube Animals

So, I like to recycle. and I know how hard it is to find crafts for kids that actually create something that they can do something with, like play with their macaroni wreath after they finished making it. And you’ll be picking up broken noodles off the carpet and out of the soles of your feet. So I like toilet paper rolls, they are plentiful and you can feel good about recycling them instead of just tossing them in the trash, or the recycling bin.
You can do some prep work ahead of time. I just wanna note that this toilet tube animals craft is perfectly fine for older kids to make as well. And adults too. nothing wrong with playing a little pretend with the minions.

First, you are going to need

paint- I use acrylic- you can use poster if you have it. and a brush to paint with

paper – colored paper, scrapbooking paper etc…

glue

punches- if you have them, they make creating the creatures a lot easier.

first things first, press down the tube at the top so that it’s closed, this creates an ear point at the top.
Each animal is a solid color, you can paint them realistic colors, or fantasy colors. Elephants aren’t green, dogs aren’t really red. etc..
I do not have a step by step for each animal. I will tell you what shapes I used to create them. Paint all your creatures and let them dry before moving ahead.
