Fall Vignette With Ironstone Plates

Years ago I found a pretty ironstone plate that had a rusty orange color around the rim and a random orange bittersweet pattern that went perfectly with my Fall décor. I love this plate and I pull it out every year to use somewhere in the house. For years I displayed it in my kitchen and after that I displayed it proudly on m fireplace mantel. I always wanted more of these plates but have never found another one like it.....until recently! Now that I two pieces and was able to pair them up and create a Fall vignette. I love my new ironstone plates and hope to find even more of these plates to start a nice collection!
I found a matching platter at my local thrifty store. woot woot! I was not expecting to find something like this when I walked over to the dishes, but there it was and I quickly snatched it up! :)
Here is the first plate that I found years ago. You can see more pictures of it displayed in my Fall mantel on my blog. http://decoratedchaos.blogspot.com/2014/09/new-fall-vignette-and-giveaway.html
I hung a photo canvas under the shelf to add a personal element to the space.
I like to add mixed metals an textures. This gold pumpkin looks great sitting next to a wood and copper lantern.
