Always on the hunt for unwanted old pieces of furniture to reinvent during the long cold winter days
This is before I painted it
Found an old French advertisement ,after painting and antiquing it I meticulously handpainted the image,
I found the image it was very small so I cut the image into 4 and enlarged each one until I got the size I needed then transferred it with carbon paper then hand painted the image I sanded and polyurethaned it several times for a smooth surface.
I glued fabric to the inside for a finishing

Gorgeous! I'm not as talented as you, but I have an old piano bench exactly like yours. Now I think I know what to do with it! Thanks for sharing!!!

I just posted the pictures of a piano bench I just did...it was in a bad shape..I used home made chalk paint and I think made a cute small coffee table. I made it for a person with a RV that wanted a coffee table that would fit the size room. You can not tell, but the table is lightly aged with dark wax without being distressed.
