This is so easy to do if you have the right slice of log!

We have a wood burning stove and use it all through the cold months. Every now and then I come across a piece that looks like something, for instants big feet
I made into flip flops!icon
So when I saw this slice of log last year I saved it because it looked like a pumpkin sliced right down the middle! You can see it under some of my new leaves I made recently here in this picture.

I sanded it down so it is very smooth to the touch then used Unicorn SPiT in red and yellow to make a beautiful orange! Added a little brown on the stalk (limb cut off from the log)! and WALA a slice of pumpkin !!
I wanted to write something on it but really couldn't think of anything that would encompass the whole fall season. Wait... what did I just think... the season... pumpkin... I got it!! Happy Pumpkin Season, perfect!!!!icon Just freehand writing in khaki, highlighted with chocolate, added a few little swirls then sprayed 2 coats of a clear gloss and called it finished!
That's it! Another fall decoration finished and it is so cool!! Thanks for looking and like always all comments and questions are welcomed! Bye for now everyone!icon
