I just watched the little video they have on their website...seems like a workable option. Depending on how large your space is a few zones may be needed. The only thing that I found questionable...is the self draining part of the "heads" I would still feel better about a "blow down" in the fall...the hoses seem like they could handle a freeze / thaw but heads may be vulnerable.
Jill, My lawn has suffered this year too, I don't have inground sprinklers and I am finding ways to resolve this issue. I don't want to spend the money right now on installing permanent sprinklers. A few options I shortlisted...
Jill, I just found this awesome information about this guy doing the entire installation all by himself, he claims it costed him $500. This guy is so detailed with all his explanation, I feel like doing the project myself. Not sure if you will go this route, but here is a link at least for the sake of inspiration
Yamini, you are a doll!! This information is great and gives me some other options to consider. I'm definitely going to go the DIY route because I can't afford the alternative. Still wish I could find someone who actually has installed LawnBelt because supposedly it doesn't need to be "blown out" or winterized. THANKS!
A little shaken up. Sorry for the delay... we evacuated the building. Scary. We're back to work, but I'm worried about aftershocks or maybe that was just the pre-shock.
We had a smaller quake here in CO before the est coast one...5.3 down near trinidad and the NM border...did not feel anything...but that is about 200 miles away
