Pumpy-Kins by SK

This fun little project was inspired by: Kristy at 3 Peppers. What is fun about creating is the ability to take an inspiration and make it your own.
SK's Canvas Painted Pumpkins version.
This tutorial was a fun and quick study. With fun and quick results.

I liked the simplicity of the plain painted canvas so I didn't add the painted Jack-O-Lantern faces. I used burlap ribbon for the stem and curly-cews.
I discovered I had more fun when my canvas was wet. This gave me a more wet-on-wet look. I laid them in the sun when paint was finished. When they were dry I ironed each one. (note to self: Paint sticks to iron).
I love my hot glue gun. Of course I have no feeling in any of my fingertips after all these years. Hmmmmm.
