Repurpose Empty Wine Bottles

What to do with empty wine bottles? Not quite a cleaning and organizing post, but I just love this idea to repurpose empty wine bottles.
The other day I was in the basement and came across some glass jars I purchased awhile ago for various holiday or decorating needs. Wine bottles + dried rose petals + glass jars = new decorating idea!

First, clean the glass jar with Windex to remove dust and fingerprints.
Next, put the wine bottle in the glass jar, positioning it in the middle. It helps if the jar is taller or as tall as your wine bottle. Add the roses. Leave some on their stem, and pop the stems off others. Dropped the roses around the wine bottle. Let some fall to the sides of the bottle, specifically those with the stems. Continue adding the stemless roses until they reach the top of your jar.
Don’t have an empty wine bottle around? Go out, purchase a lovely bottle of Chardonnay or Pinot Noir, come back home and tell your loved one it’s a special occasion. Drink the bottle of wine and voilà–you now have an empty bottle of wine with special significance!
