Vinegar is such an amazing household product. You can use it for cleaning, cooking and other random purposes. Here are my favorite 12 household ideas for vinegar you just have to try out!
1. Cooking Smells? – Remove cooking smells by letting a small pot of vinegar and water simmer on the stove. Bonus! Vinegar is a natural air freshener when sprayed in a room. Double Bonus! Deodorize a room by placing a small bowl of vinegar in the room (even works on paint fumes and cigarette smoke).

2. Crusty Faucets? Ew! Soak sponges or paper towels in vinegar and place around faucets. Let sit for an hour, then scrub deposits away.

3. Dirty Iron? Heat equal parts vinegar and salt in a small pan. Rub the solution on the cooled iron surface to remove dark or burned stains.

4. Frosted Windows?Coat your car windows at night with a solution of three parts vinegar and one part water. It’ll keep your windows frost-free for a quick getaway in the morning!
5. Grimy Sink? Pour a cup down the drain once a week. Let stand 30 minutes, then flush with cold water. Clean & Proper tip! After enjoying your post-cleaning Gin & Tonic (with fresh squeezed lemon), grind the leftover lemon rind in your disposal for a lovely, lemony-fresh scent!

6. Hiccups? Drink 1 tbsp. of vinegar. Works instantly!

7. Lint-y Clothes? Add one cup vinegar to each wash load to prevent lint from clinging to clothes.

8. Salty Shoes? Clean salt-stained leather and suede shoes by making a solution of equal parts white vinegar and water. Dab solution onto cotton rag (use a nylon-bristle brush if cleaning suede). Rub gently over entire shoe and let dry.
9. Smelly Wool? Deodorize a wool sweater by first washing the sweater, then rinse in equal parts vinegar and water.

10. Sore Throat? Put a tsp. of vinegar in a glass of water, gargle, then swallow. Not good enough? To cure colds, mix 1/4 cup Apple Cider Vinegar with 1/4 cup honey. Take one tbsp. 6 to 8 times daily.

11. Winter Chubbs? Dampen your appetite by sprinkling a little vinegar on prepared food to take the edge off your appetite.

12. Winter-Weathered Skin? Add 2 tbsp. of vinegar to your bath water to relieve dry and itchy skin.

Pour white vinegar into coffeemaker, turn it on. Let the vinegar run through, (pour some baking soda in the kitchen drain, pour the vinegar down the drain for drain cleaner purposes), then rinse the coffeemaker twice with cold water.
