Painted Thrifted Pumpkins Take Center Stage on the Fall Stoop!

Saturdays thrifting adventures landed these two solid wood pumpkins, a little dark and dingy. Once they got a lick of white chalk paint they seemed to come alive. They fit wonderfully in the front stoop Fall décor.
Dark with a dowel stem. Someone took great care crafting these little guys.
I mixed up some homemade chalk paint and gave them a good coat. When the pumpkins were dry I sanded them well.
Topped with a bow they seem to be ready for a Fall décor debut. One sits in a galvanized pail beside the other joined by my favorite natural décor pinecones.
