Can chalk paint be used on metal?

I have a metal dresser that I would like to refinish. The current finish is enamel paint. Can I repaint it with chalk paint? What kind of prep work (if any) would need to be done first? THANKS for your help!

Thanks Hannah! :) You can paint (and I have ) pretty much everything with Chalk Paint...even metal. The metal trays and things I've done have held up wonderfully. But I would be a bit concerned about moving parts. That would be my only worry in this process. If you still want to go ahead, I would sand a bit to take the slick finish off (metal and enamel paint) first. Then clean very well and paint. Finishing up with the wax. Hope that helps!
