Definitely Acer spp. (Maple) not sure which one. Possibilities are Silver, Red, or Sugar Maple. A better shot of the top and bottom of the leaf and leaf stem would help.

My husband found an app where you take a picture of the leaf and it tells you what tree it is. I will find out what the name of it is.

its a maple,,,variety unsure..BUT MOVE IT.....some varietie can get 35 ft tall..and do damage to the sidewalks and foundations..

Looks like a maple tree but you might want to move it to another location as mentioned by others.

Sure,that is a maple tree. It can grown up to 30'wide & 85' tall. You may move it away from your house (too close now), because it can be damage your house foundation !

The app is called "leaf snap".... you put the leaf on a white background and it'll give you what it is or sometimes a few to choose from....

I have a silver maple in my yard and this one you have could be the same. Please move it. They are absolutely gorgeous trees but become huge…and I do mean huge! Mine is over 50 feet tall. It makes lovely shade and as a fairly shallow root system. Try to place it somewhere the ground will not be too disturbed and somewhere in your yard where you can watch it turn into the most majestic tree in the neighbourhood.
