name of the flower

This red flower caught my eyes, but I can't figure out the name. Help!!

    By looking at the leaves, these are definitely not zinnias. However, some of my zinnia flowers do resemble these with the cone and others are a tight flower...they came out of the same seed packet.

    Looks like Helenium to me. I have lots some and have saved some seed & hope to start new plants by seed & division. Also, I have lots of zinnias (planted from seed) - the new flowers do not have a "cone" in the center but as they age they develop a larger & larger cone.

    Helenium one of about 40 herbaceous flowering plants in the daisy family .They bear yellow or orange to red-orange flowers. Go to http://www.bing.com/images/search?q=helenium... to see some pics of various blooms. May need to copy and paste site addy.
