DIY Bookcases Using Kitchen Cabinets as the Base

My husband constructed these bookcases with birch plywood and by using unfinished kitchen cabinets purchased at a big box store as the base. I think he did a great job! You can read and see more by clicking on the link to my blog post.

    Think it's great, Suzy! Whenever we do a complete kitchen remodel we find ways to re-purpose the old cabinets in the client's home. It could be a basement bar, a garage work area...or custom built-ins!

    I love the way you repurposed those cabinets. I'm wanting to add book cases with bases for storage in our dining room. I'm having hard time finding what I want...so glad for the idea! Thanks for sharing.
