how to fix my carpet

I've had new carpet now for about 8 months and it was really nice till the cat scratched up around the edges and created bald spots in the carpet and my daughter spilled something and went to clean it with a spray, but didn't realize it had bleach in it and now the carpet has bleach stains. Can these two things be fixed without replacing the entire carpet?

Did you keep any little remnant patches from installation, or can you get in touch with the supplier again for patches? I would normally recommend gluing in patches from an inconspicuous closet corner or something, but with carpet this new, it should still be available, and should still match perfectly.

If you did not have any left over sections, perhaps you can remove a section within a closet area and use that.

But your pretty much out of luck otherwise.

I have had this happen at home and a dog did a job in an apartment. Cut out the bad area and find a remant in closet or save piece of carpet and glue it down and put a cloth over it to iron the glue in. There is a special glue the carpet installers use. I snagged some last apartment mess.
