how would u get rid of Raccoons?

I have a small vegi garden that is my hobby.. and sometimes lunch. the raccoons have been going after them HARD - i placed a 3ft fence (chicken wire) around, but still somehow they get in.

You might try a motion activated sprinkler such as the Scarecrow, http://www.contech-inc.com/products/scarecrow/. I know if I was hit in the middle of the night with a noisy, cold water sprinkler I would haul.

Raccoons climb fences easily. Scent-based repellent don't typically work. The only sure method is to trap them and call animal control. Most states require racoons to be euthanized after trapping since they may spread diseases if they are relocated.
