It looks awesome, Rhoda! -
Hi Rhonda.....I have been following you renovation and I have two things to say: All looks beautiful AND YOUR PARENTS ARE THE BEST ! -
Ditto on what Torri just said. You Dad really amazes me. Keeps him young I bet. Looks wonderful Rhoda! -
I left a comment on your blog. Wonderful beginning to a great kitchen! I love the white cabinets and how it is all coming together. You are so right, straight, plumb installation is so important in a kitchen! -
It is looking great Rhoda. -
Looks gorgeous! I am dying for new cabinets and really love the ones from IKEA. (Plus we have a zillion so we could really use a lower-cost option.) But people have so many opinions about that and it confuses me. I can't wait to go to your blog and read more! -
Your house is really coming along. You and your dad make such a great team. Mom too! I love seeing your updates.

Thanks for all of the post that is some job that you have taken on. Looks like you are doing a good job. -
I so love what you did in the Dining room, with the board and batten. Trying to get my hubs on board to do this SOMEWHERE in our house! Your blog is one of my favorites! Love your Mom and Dad...they remind me of my hubs and I doing the same thing for our girls. But your Pops seems to have a bit more skill than my hubs! Can't wait to see your next update! -
I love the direction you're going with your whole renovation. Your kitchen is looking so good! -
Looking good! I just used Ikea Adele cupboard doors for my laundry room, but I painted them to go along with the vanity. Good cupboards, great price. Its going to look lovely! -
I love IKEA and agree they have good products at an inexpensive price.. Your kitchen is coming along very nicely! -
Rhoda, it is coming along beautifully. It is classically styled and best of all, the white cabinets will allow you to make color changes as you please. And I know you "please." :) xxoo -
Ikea has come a long way - it's not just for cinnamon buns anymore!! Seriously, your kitchen is amazing - can't wait to see what you do for counters! -
Afriend of mine had cabinets like this, I don't know the brand of his. They went all the way up to the ceiling, no open space at the top to collect grease, and dust. I just love your cabinets. I wish mine went up like yours, and his. -
Excellent choice. These will never go out of style. Is your Dad going to add crown molding to the tops? That would look killer! -
I used IKEA cabinets in my 1922 Craftsman cottage, and they look terrific. After 8 years, they still look new and work perfectly. LOVE the soft-closing feature on the drawers. They have a 25 year warranty too, so what's not to like? Good choice! -
HI, Barbara, there will be a crown at the top, but it won't touch the ceiling. I'll show it all soon.
