Love this look and love them in red. I have a set just like this in the attic and this will motivate me to find a special place for them. One shutter has some slats missing but think I could hang something over that area or use it on the bottom. I really love how you did yours. I'm saving it. -

You gave me inspiration . I got some shutters at a rummage sale for free and purchased an old dresser at Goodwill for $12.00. I painted the shutters red and the dresser black just as you did. I absolutely love it. Thank you!
