Old Chest repurposed to an Entertainment Unit

This chest was found out on the curb. It's solid wood. Removing the solid wood top and adding more wood underneath, allowed for the electronic equipment to be stashed away neatly. You have to see the before picture on this one. See the full makeover, before and more after pics at recapturedcharm.com. Tips on glazing as well.

Old solid wood chest found at the curb had the front doors nailed shut and a removable top. Now it sits proudly as a beautiful entertainment unit.

It seems as if this chest could be a cat on it's third life. Once as a small low cabinet, then as a hope chest and now a lovely TV stand. Great reworking Lisa! Nice that you refinished the top too.
