Farmhouse Dining Room Table

We wanted a larger table for our home. I could not find one that I loved. So we made one. I painted our old dining room chairs and re-covered the chairs with canvas drop clothes. The bench, my father made. I sanded down the bench and stained then painted the legs. We love our new table.

Thank you. We just love it. It has been a great place to play family games or for my boys and their friends to hang out at.

I really like this. What type of wood is the top made of. I have a similar table that has an ugly heavy marble top and would love to change it to make it more of a ranch kitchen talbe.

The top is made from 8 ft white pine. They are stained with American walnut.

It's a beautiful table. Looks like a well-made, big family kind of table where you can enjoy great meals and make good memories. The kind of table that will be around for decades. Love the style of the legs on the bench too.
