It's kind of like you always have a full moon in your garden. -
Christmas lights are a perfect way to add lightihg outside because it does not draw bugs! -
What a neat idea Linda. -
Thanks for sharing your creative eye.

Thanks, everyone, for the comments. I'm definitely going to make another one of these lights for the garden. One thing I might change. At Christmastime I'll buy some smaller strings of lights, 10 or 20 little lights on a string instead of 100. It will be a softer glow but will cost less to run also. Could anyone improve on this design also? Let's take it further if we can.... -
Well I guess you could get some, if they make them anymore, low voltage wired garden lights and set these globes on top of them. If you used the solar ones you'd have to remove the globes during the day to recharge and that would be a pain if you had more than one. I really like the look of the multiple lights inside though. LED string lights use less energy. -
Thanks, Becky. You are so RIGHT!!! Much less energy. Will have to look for those at tag sales!! ha ha I might actually have to buy something at the store. :) -
LOL I'm thinking I need to do the same. We've talked about getting something to light our walkway from the driveway to the front door since it's curvy and very long. In the country we have no street lights so unless there's a full moon it's rather creepy find ones way to the front door at night. I have yet to find a style I like. Well until I saw your idea!
