Blower on furnace runs after burner shuts off.

The blower motor on our furnace continues to run after the burner shuts off. The blower keeps running as the burner continues to cycle on and off. Sometimes the blower will run for as much as an hour before shutting off. Sure hope you can help. Thanks.

The thermostat may not be wired correctly. Ours did something similar to that and we found it was wired wrong.
