My indoor/outdoor space.....

We have a covered area - under an addition - great place to hang out. Recently had my mom's iron furniture set sandblasted - and I re painted all 5 pieces. Bought new cushions, and made a few pillows. Have considered screening in this area - but I like the open-ness - and are really not bothered too much by bugs. Might get some light weight curtains from IKEA to close things when I need too!! Really like sitting out there - especially this time of year - not too hot....
Furnished with 'vintage' stuff - mom's iron set, the couch we bought in ...yes...the early 1960's....and of course a newer wicker set. Love having the outdoors in!!

Jan this is a wonderful space!! Our deck is too hot and until we hit the lottery there won't be anything more than an umbrella to shade us. I did spiff up the front porch a little but alot of our rain comes in the front and I got tired of dashing out @ 2am to retrieve pillows & the quilt over our bench! I'll just have to enjoy yours from afar!! You've created a beautiful area w/so much ambiance!!
