How to clean & polish antique table

I have 2 antique tables that were my Moms - one of them I cleaned/polished with Murphys Oil - the small table looks fine but the large table keeps messing up. It feels sticky in places, papers stick to it but it leaves paper, and I accidentally set a cup of coffee down and it left a whitish looking circle. Is there anything I need to do or a better way to clean it without ruining the table?

Go to the website. www.thevictorianhouseproducts.com and order The Finish Rejuvenator. It will clean and bring back the original finish and leaves absolutely NO residue. I use it on all the wood and I buy and sell antiques and furniture. It works every time on any color. Whatever you do Please don't use anything with water.
