Tiled Bathroom Floor

My friend had a bathroom with carpet over concrete slab floor. Not a good idea to carpet the bathroom floor.
Advice:
You can do a small bathroom yourself.
Do back-butter tiles.
Do rent or buy a wet saw if you have more tile projects.
The old carpet was cut out and thrown away. The old toilet was removed, had to cut the bolts and pry the toilet off the floor. I took a crow bar to pry up the nails holding down the tack strip out of the concrete slab floor. Now I was ready to start tiling the floor. Lay the first row of 12"x12" tiles and mark the floor with a pencil. Spread your thin-set and back butter your tiles as you go. I borrowed a wet saw to cut the tiles around toilet and vanity. Next day it was ready to grout.

Wow! Neat work! Tiling is an economical method of revaming your bath floors. I like what you did. Is the wall paper old? I am totally into the new wall paper trend these days and I love this one on your wall.

Did you raise the toilet flange up to the new floor level or use a spacer?
