Capodimonet Porcelain Lamps

Have you ever heard of Capodimonet before? I hadn't until I was out junk'n a few years ago and I ran across one in a antique store. This is when I fell in love with their beautiful roses. The art work is amazing. When I saw them I knew they were to go in my home.
There are many types of Capodimonet art work but my favorite is the lamps with the beautiful roses on them.
I think this lamp is my favorite, I love how they have made the swirls on it. The three lamps that I have all have lovely pink flowers on them.
I bought these lamps for under $40.00 each, but I saw one go at a thrift store the other say for $10.00! I'm pretty sure they didn't know what they had. They are getting a little rare and I don't see them as often as I have done, but if the price is right I will usually scoop them up! I want to find some smaller ones to make candle sticks out of them.
Most of the bases look like this, it's a metal base some have basket weaving on them.

I would love to have you see the post that I did on these lovely lamps, I also did a little history on them so check out my blog.

If you run into these lamps take the time to see the great art work on them it is truly beautiful!

I love everything I see in Capodimonet! These would have been a bargain at $40 and if you got them for $10, it is considered a steal! Pink roses are my favorite and he does pink roses all the time. It is very old fashioned...but then my house is mahogany and very old fashioned...a few antiques! Not the funeral parlor look, but comfy and easy to live with! I cannot imagine anyone not loving these!
