This room was a blank canvas for us. We had the walls primed, and we were just waiting to find out if we were having a boy or a girl. When we learned we were having a boy, we knew we could start on our next project--his room!
We started by scraping the "snow" off the ceiling. We then removed the crown molding, and added the beadboard, the can lights, and the Mexican Star light. After that was completed, we could then place the crown molding in its original position.
We did hire a painter to paint the designs on the walls. We knew he would do a much better job than we could have done.
My husband then ordered and installed the interior of the closet, and the flooring for the closet. He then made the "barn door" closet doors from scratch. We thought the iron pulls really pulled the rustic theme together.
