Adding tray ceiling to living area

Created tray around perimeter of ceiling in family room. Put recessed lights in tray. Finished, added molding, painted tray.
Advice:
Remember your fire alarm is hot-wired. Ouch! You will need more than one person to help hold molding, framing, dry wall.
This was a very difficult job. Getting the tray measured was a huge job by itself. Once the planning was done, I started adding metal framing and then dry wall. measureing and cutting the dry wall bit. My wife finished the dry wall edges. this took a couple of days by itself. I cut recessed lighting pockets and added light kits. My friend got shocked. We used a lot of putty.
