Perfect Place Settings
by

Creating the perfect place setting for a formal dining room table.
*Options I considered for this project:
Color of place mats, dish style (shape, color and theme), glass ware. Staying within a budget.
*Questions and unexpected events that arose during the project:
A new -refreshed joy for yard sale shopping and online bargin sales.
*My motivation to do this project:
I wanted to add a style and design to a otherwise boring table.
*Project Steps:
First Step was select my theme or color scheme for table accessories. I also figured the number of place setting needed and if I wanted to purchase additional items just in case dishes are broken or needed for large parties.
Second Step was SHOPPING!!!! Gotta love that. I had a budget of $25.00 for a place setting of 6. By shopping at yard sales, clearance sections of the home decor areas of consignment shops. I found my place mats at Hill Street Interiors downtown- Atlanta GA. They have a clearance room that will knock your socks off. You may have to wade or search through alot of broken or pieces of damaged goods to find that one wonderful buy. Hills Street also has faux fruit, glass stemware and much more.
Advice:
Dont over pay for accessories- find yard sales, shop online or at consignment shops for deals on antiques, collectibles or flatware.
