Painted Kitchen Walls
*Options I considered for this project:
I considered letting someone else paint for me but they turned out to not be as dependable as I needed for them to be. I also considered the "stick on" tile at Home Depot for walls.
*Questions and unexpected events that arose during the project:
I found it quite unexpected to not be able to paint the edges and the very top part of the wall as easy as the rest of the walls but I made it through.
* Cost Comments:
Paint $7.99 per gallon
sandpaper 3.97
Sponges 5.00
Large sponges 2.00
Latx Caulk 2.14
Primer $12.96
*My motivation to do this project:
I didnot like the color of the walls when I purchased my home. I had special colors I wanted for my house.
*Project Steps:
Cover floors and hardware
Sand walls
Fill gaps and holes
Cut in and around edges
Run a line of paint along the wall
Roll the walls
Advice:
Don't start painting unless you cover the floors and other areas in the room. This is very important.

Patricia Moore's idea of vines or greenery would be lovely - and unless your guests are in the habit of hanging out on the top rung of your ladder, no one will likely know the difference if they're real or fake!
