Stain exterior patio concrete

Staining the exterior concrete patio.
*Options I considered for this project:
I considered hiring someone to resurface the patio with a stone-like stamp. After considering the cost, I chose to just stain it myself.
*Questions and unexpected events that arose during the project:
I decided to use the same brand stain as before to ensure compatibility. I went to Sherwin Williams to buy the stain and was informed to get the degreaser too. The surface was prepped well and stained. During the winter months, the stain started to peel just by spraying the hose. By spring, I contacted Sherwin Williams, they sent out a specialist and he took care of the problem the next day. Not sure why this happened but Sherwin Williams had such a great customer service that I would recommend them for any job.
*My motivation to do this project:
The exterior patio had been stained once by a professional painter, when we got the house repainted. I wanted to update it and change the color.
*Project Steps:
The slab was cleaned thoroughly and stained with a roller, you must give sufficent time in between coats for drying.
Advice:
Very easy Do it Yourself project and looks great. The patio can easily be touched up from any accidental permanent stains.
